<p><br />The Fund for Idaho describes the award as follows:</p>
<p style="color: #222222;">&#8220;We bestow the&nbsp;<span class="il">Idaho</span>&nbsp;Community Catalyst Award to honor the contributions of exceptional Idahoans&nbsp;&nbsp; who have invested their time, passion, and energy to strengthen and sustain the nonprofit organizations that make<span class="il">Idaho</span>&nbsp;communities richer places through their advocacy&nbsp;<span class="il">for</span>&nbsp;social justice, with no thought to personal recognition. The dedication of these unsung heroes&nbsp;furthers the&nbsp;vision of a just, compassionate and environmentally healthy&nbsp;<span class="il">Idaho</span>&nbsp;respectful of its history and its peoples. Nomiination criteria include: *Investing significant time over the long haul to bring about substantial positive changes that improve&nbsp;<span class="il">Idaho</span>&nbsp;communities *Working in ways that may not be recognized but which have significant impact on social issues *Living a life reflective of the values she or he supports *Dedication to making the&nbsp;<span class="il">Idaho</span>&nbsp;a better place without thought of recognition.</p>

Andrade Legal, in cooperation with other volunteer attorneys and the Idaho Citizens Action Network analyzed the bills in preparation for committee testimony, meeting with legislators and public education.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;Spokesman Review <a href="http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/mar/12/immigration-bill-clears-idaho-senate-committee/">newspaper article</a> regarding last of three bills. Senate Bill 1271 introduced by Sen. John McGee, R-Caldwell.&nbsp; Maria Andrade testified before the State Affairs Committee in opposition to&nbsp; SB 1271. The committee voted to amend the bill which effectively killed it for this year.&nbsp; Andrade Legal paralegal, Ebelia Rea, testified in opposition to Senate Bill 1303 a week earlier which was overwhelming <a href="http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/mar/08/idaho-immigration-bill-killed/">killed in committee</a>.&nbsp; A house bill, introduced by Rep. Phil Hart was <a href="http://www.idahoreporter.com/2010/harts-immigration-bill-fails-in-committee/">killed as well</a>.</p>

Goodyear,&nbsp; to cut our client&#8217;s claims under the ADA.&nbsp; The case was later briefly mentioned in &#8220;The Word&#8221; segment of the Colbert Report.&nbsp; Lead counsel, Ken Nagy, argued the case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
