JOB DUTIES

Mr. Szymanski assists attorneys in a variety of immigration matters, focusing on  immigration court matters as well as employment and family based employment visa applications. He works closely with clients to manage document collection, conducts legal research, drafts documents for filng with court or goverment agencies and is primary contact for clients on active cases. Mr. Szymanski also serves as a notary public.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Szymanski joined Andrade Legal in 2011. He has worked in both professional and volunteer capacities on immigration matters for several years on in New York.  While working at national immigrants rights non-profit, Mr. Szymanski was accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) to practice law before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and worked directly with clients as an authorized case worker. He played a key role in the development of a non-profit organization designed to assist new immigrants and donated many hours volunteering with the “Citizenship Now” campaign and Habitat for Humanity. 

Mr. Szymanski earned a  Bachelors Degree in Economics from the City University of New York and continues his legal education through Practicing Law Institute.

Mr. Syzmanski and his coworker Starr Shepard are among a small number of BIA Accredited representatives in the state of Idaho.
