Three immigration related pieces of legislation were introduced in the 2010 Idaho legislative session. Andrade Legal, in cooperation with other volunteer attorneys and the Idaho Citizens Action Network analyzed the bills in preparation for committee testimony, meeting with legislators and public education.

Spokesman Review newspaper article regarding last of three bills. Senate Bill 1271 introduced by Sen. John McGee, R-Caldwell.  Maria Andrade testified before the State Affairs Committee in opposition to  SB 1271. The committee voted to amend the bill which effectively killed it for this year.  Andrade Legal paralegal, Ebelia Rea, testified in opposition to Senate Bill 1303 a week earlier which was overwhelming killed in committee.  A house bill, introduced by Rep. Phil Hart was killed as well.
