A March 2010 decision of the U.S. Supreme Court (Padilla v. Kentucky) now requires defense attorneys to advise their non-citizen defendants of the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. Andrade Legal provides free training for public criminal defense attorneys upon request, scheduled at the convenience of the parties.
